Does Mandrake 10.1 not have C shell ?
There is a computer down the hall that has Mandrake 9.1 installed and evidently has a C shell.
I have Mandrake 10.1 on a laptop and when I try to run the same code I get a bash: command not found for the same scripts that work on the other computer. It looks like the 10.1 install on the laptop doesn't have CSH, as I copied my .cshrc from the other computer to the laptop and the commands still don't work. on the 9.1 install, it is located at /bin/csh nothing like that exists on the 10.1 computer. How do I get CSH and make that the default shell instead of bash. All the code I'm using is in C language. I'm just totally guessing that this is my problem since I'm a major Newbie - out. |
You need to install tcsh.

Just in case you are in doubt...
The best way to install this is using urpmi. The second best way is to google "rpm", open the http://rpm.pbone.net/ website and look for the package. |
