Do Mandrake club fee's need to be unified
Well i certainly believe they do as no other on-line business that I've seen to date, uses this business model. you can sign up for the silver level for example for $120 or 120euros. This is dependent on where you live. and the denomination doesn't change till you get to the second screen. it's clear it changes so thats not misleading in its self.
but i live in the UK and we're not part of euroland yet. and i wonder how many of you who are not USA based are getting fleeced because of that fact.
I've done the maths.
$120 = £65 UK pounds
120euros = £80 pounds net difference £15.00 which converted back to dollors is $27.00 yes $27.00 more.
buy a book off of bn.com for $20 you get charged $20 no matter where you are in the world, your bank will add anything between 1-3% for the transaction charges. fair does.
£15 thats a lot of suspected transaction/conversion charge there.
I love this distro but i wont pony £15 more because of where i live. what do you think?
