Hi,
I want to run drbd on 2 servers, for that i need to create a new device, witch will be a part of the hdd, but shared by both servers.
So i typed this command : makedev /dev/drbd0 [enter]
After enter, the system was like freezed, the cursor was blinking below the command line above, and nothing else happened. I waited 5 minutes or so, nothing.... I pressed after that CTRL-C and the promter was back.
I checked in /dev/ and i found an directory drbd0 with 3 dirs inside and many file in the dirs. But drbd is not happy with the device since he's giving me the error : Couldn't find device /dev/drbd0. Expected /dev/??? to exist!
Need some help here!!!!!!!!!

Since drdb isn't a part of MDK (IFAIK) you really should take this question to the mailinglist on http://www.drbd.org/
