Delete Kernel

Just got through upgrading Mandriva 2005LE to 2006.1-0.3(Beta) and everything went absolutely perfect. Now I'm wondering should I remove the 2.6.11.6 kernel left behind. Will the removal mess something up?

If you want to, but make sure you do it the right way or you will mess up your system. Make sure you have at least one other kernel installed first;

Try something like to check; rpm -qa 'kernel*'

If yes, then remove by something like; rpm -e kernel-<version_number>

Thanks for the reply. I have the 2.6.12.13 installed also.
