data recover please ..!


i am using mandrake 10.0+KDE.

is there is any tool or packages or software for mandrake linux used to recover the deleted data....!!!

i heard abt " lde " (linux disk editer) where can i get for mandrake10.0.

or any other tool for recover the deleted data..???please

You can get the lde-i386 binary from http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...lease_id=25258
Download it, gunzip lde-i386.gz, chmod 755 lde-i386, ./lde-i386 /dev/hda1 or whatever.

thank u sir i got it.
now my problem is there is no manual for that...! where can i get help??

can u please explain me how to recover deleted files..

if image is deleted then how to recover to my Desktop??

if i deleted 20 days ago can i get that???

if i deleted 200MB data can i get that??

please help mesir..!!

I have no direct knowledge of the program but look at their homepage http://lde.sourceforge.net/ . There are some hints there.

Something you deleted 20 days ago can be tricky to restore (at least if you've continued to work and save stuff
on the hard drive)

sir i looked there there is a nice help .

but i can not view the deleted folder or file .

if i deleted one folder have 5MB data.

THE FOLDER NAME IS "MAIL" AFTER LOOKING THE LDE RECOVER THERE IS NO SUCH FILE.

WHERE TO GO FOR RECOVER THAT FILE..

can i recover full 5MB data?

then how do to it..please..

I haven't had to try any of these so I'm afraid I can't help you more on this subject.
