copy and paste changed

Hi,
Copy and paste used to work by by highlighting the text and then pasting by clicking with both mouse buttons. Now this does not work.
One of the software updates has changed something. The right mouse button has a menu: undo, cut, copy, paste..etc
It now needs more clicks than it used to.

cheers

Do you have a middle button? Use that to paste.

Look in your desktop environment settings for a "left+right simulates middle click" option

I only have a 2 button mouse It used to work as I stated before.
There is no desktop environment setting that asks about to simulate 3 button mouse.

By default (AFAIK) even a two button mouse would be treated as a three button mouse. Did you try the gui mouse configuration tool. It should be there somewhere under prefrences.

Well,
I had some software updates today and now it works the way it used to.
One was libxulrunner and other one was something else.
It could just be a coincidence.
