Hi, I've got a large collection of .deb files and other Debian files and I might want to switch to Mandrivia but then the two must be fairly compatible, are they?
Mandrake uses rpm so isn't compatiable with Deian packages. Mandrake has its own package manager called urpmi and lots of rpm repositories so I am sure that the packages you have in Debian are also available for Mandrake.
