cdrom mount error on Mandrake 10.1 community

I've just installed Mandrake 10.1 com.
It will mount removables without any problem, but what's very strange is the cdrom bay doesn't work even if the installation on cds went without problems.

I tried the mount /dev/cdrom and mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom and it stays on for hours until i shut down the konsole.

/mnt/cdrom/ is in the file tree.

Do you have enough informations to find out what should i do?

I've the same problem (with a LiteOn LTN382 CDROM)....
I've also test Fedora core 3 and there isn't this problem. I've to compare fstab of MDK and Fedora to see difference... but I think there is a kernel problem...

I fixed the problem very easily with a simple mnt /dev/hdd /mnt/cdrom
