Thank's, but I have been on http://www.monkeysaudio.com/ and only windows version is available !!!
Monkey's Audio for Apple and Linux is on the way.
What can I do ???
I do not want to install windows :-( Beurk !!!
Eh, a google search would have answered this question more quickly.
Ape are Monkey's Audio files.
Google for Monkey Audio if you are interested.
with all respect, I think this kind of answers are not useful at all.
'google it' is not an answer I would expect from a specialized forum
if anyone is asking here, it's coz need sort of 'tech' advice (aware if asking too simple or out-of-place things, which think it's not the case)
with all respect, I don't think your response is usefull at ALL...
If you objected to the suggestion to use google, you could have instead elected to post a full response and answer the now three year old question altogether...
... instead answering what you percieved to be as a useless post, with eh, yet another.
It appears to me that you have the mistaken idea that because you posted a question, those who choose to take the time to respond are obligated to do the work for you. They art not.
From where I sit, opjose provided an entirely valid answer because we have no way to know which audio software you have installed on your system. The most efficient way for you to be able to accomplish the goal of your original post would be to go to Google's Linux Friendly Search and run your search for "Monkey Audio".
The only result you will get from engaging in flame wars will be that your future posts will be ignored by regular responders (including me).
I frequent this forum because I want to help users new to Linux, but that is not the same as being willing to do all the work for them. Learning requires effort. For example, I may have provided valuable information in this post if you did not know that Google has a Linux friendly search which returns hits from Linux friendly WEB sites. I believe in the saying that if I give a man a fish, he will eat for a day, if I teach a man to fish, he will eat for a lifetime. By providing the Googe link above, I may have "helped you to learn to fish" rather than "giving you a fish". What you do with the information provided in this forum is up to you ...
sorry if offended, was not my mean, but to mark that.. pointing someone back to google(raw-google, as it was) could dissapoint him, and make stop the try. -I care about this.
feeding-with-fish: nothing to do with my point.
flame-wars: is you who writes a 20-lines 'punisher-style' reply.
(at least I gave a valid link to the concrete topic)
xcuse me again if offended. it was not my intention.
