cant mount the cdrom - wrong medium type


Hi all,

I have problem trying to mount an audio cd before playing it in MDK10.0 and the message was "wrong medium type".

really got no idea what is this about?

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks before hand

you don't need to mount audio cds, in fact, you can't...

just play them directly...

how to play an audio cd if it's not mounted?

Hi all,

Thanx win32sux! but let me ask you guys a stupid question: how can a play this audio cd if its not mounted?

you can only "mount" filesystems... audio cds don't have any filesystem, it's just pure digital audio... if you have your player properly configured, hitting the "play" button should be enough...
