Those of you that have tried a usb connection using kernel: vmlinuz-2.6.8.1-24mdk on Mandrake 10.1/Mandriva 10.1 might have seen this same issue. I have not found a work around but have just changed back to the old kernel version. Does this have anything to do with new udev rules as mentioned here:

Or, is it just a bug? Anyway, I wish people tested these things fully before release. I figured it was a fairly mature kernel compilation. Also, does anyone know how to enable Supermount on new kernels from kernel.org, or is that a patch supplied by the Mandriva dist? Also, is supermount still used in Mand 10.2?
