Cannot install flash player 10 on Mandriva 2009

I am running mandriva 2009 free edition. I want to install flash player for the browsers, so i downloaded the .tar.gz archive, extracted it and i tried to install it. But, when it says "Please enter the installation path of the Mozilla, Netscape,
or Opera browser (i.e., /usr/lib/mozilla):", everything that i tried did not succeed, it says me "WARNING: Please enter a valid installation path.
". I have tried almost all the paths that i gained with the locate command, but still no success.

Anyone can help me ?

You should get the rpm version of flash player from Adobe rather than the tar.gz archive. You will have better luck getting it installed - worked correctly here . . .

And better yet, use urpmi to easily install the latest available version of Flash in the Mandriva repository.

Alternatively, as ernie has told you, download and install the RPM of Flash from the official Adobe Flash download page.
