After the REBOOT command, linux is closing down things as usual, but at the end of the process it hangs... Is it somehow related to the "acpi=ht" in lilo.conf? Any other suggestions?
In "APM bios support", try to enable "Allow interrupts during APM BIOS calls" or "Use real mode APM BIOS call to power off", or other combinations
In 2.4 kernels these settings are to be found under the "General setup" top-level menu.
In 2.6 series, look in "Power Management Options"
These are usually the culprits when having problems rebooting/halting.
Do mind, on multiprocessor machines Power Management is always disabled!
