Can't Read CDR

Hi, I'm using Mandriva 2006 powerpack and I'm trying to copy a couple of old cdr's that I burned back in my windows days.

Most of my recent windows cdr's will mount and read ok, but these two go back a few years and were burned with a different burner.

When I try to view the contents I get an error message :
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdc

using # dmesg | tail
UDF-fs: No partition found (1)

I'm not dual booting anymore, Mandriva is my only OS.

Anyone know how I can access this stuff ?

Thanks.

Depending on the age of the CDs
you may not be able to read them at all
as CDs deteriorate over time
some have a lifespan of less than 10 years

if you are desperate
try using someone elses machine
running windows
