Can't launch thunderbird.


Mdk 9.2 .I am not able to start thunderbird .So I just directly clicked on /usr/local/thunderbird/thunderbird and I have got "could not find program'thunderbird',"
even I am clicking on the thunderbird.

Try typing in thunderbird to a console (after cd'ing into it's directory). Do you get any error messages?

Command did not work.

I did command and did not work.I double clicked directry on /usr/local/thunderbird/thunderbird and got error
message which is 'could not find program"thunderbird".

If you type "thunderbird" as root (su + password) does the program start? You may have installed it as root. My executable is in ~/thunderbird/thunderbird.

Perhaps you need to change the permissions on the executable file

Sorry,CPU failure

My computer shut down little later and I have come to know that it is a CPU failure.thanks.
