buffered apache output

I am using Apache 2.0, Mandrake 9.2 and Apache is giving buffered cgi
output. I tried using "$|=1" in my perl cgi script but that doesn't work.
I want unbuffered CGI output for certain applications. Is this a bug or is there
a config file that needs a special setting?

Any help is appreciated

As far as I'am aware Apache above 1.2 ( 1.3 and 2.0 ) automatically do unbuffered output. Since you've set the $|=1; Whats left is either a problem with the build of Apache or its your browser thats causing the problem. Try a diffrent browser, see if the problem also appears there.

I tried 3 different browsers and all show the same problem. I will see if Apache has a newer patch release available.
