bootloader in 9.2
 

hi just a quick question, im having difficulty in installing any kind of bootloader onto a new hard drive i have just installed onto my pc. Its a maxtor 9.53 gig drive and when i complete the instellation process and reboot using my second (the new maxtor) hard drive all i get is as follows:
if i try n install grub boot loader i just get one screen which just says GRUB and does nothing else. If i try lilo (have installed system about 50 times!) all i get is half a screen full of 99999999999999999999999 lol. please help i got it running on my old second drive wich was only 4 gigs. really dont know where im going wrong.
P.S yes i know sorry for the noob question, but im losing hair fast!

hey sorry 4 wasting everyone time but i figgured it out :) now dont laugh........ but i had the jumper on the second hard drive in wrong position hehe
