Boot Theme


I changed the KDE Boot screen and can not locate how to have KDE default screen
A Blue square loads to screen on KDE start
System boots up and runs no Problem
KDE configuration Splash screen No help. Initilation KDE?

Not sure what you mean. Are you saying that you want KDE as your default DM?

KDE INITIALIZING

Hi
On Mandrake10 boot up I have a blue square initialzing peripherals
Unable to locate HOW to change this preboot screen.
KDE performs ,no problem.

drakconf/System/Login Manager/Background. You can replace the splash screen too. Visit KDE-look.org's splash screen section. It tells you how to do it.

Blue Square

Hi Phonenix2003
Have prevous experince of click System/Configuration/kde/system/log in Manager.
You can add a clock etc no problem Log in and then the blue square pops on centre screen during initilizing
MCC /system/login manager /Background/Splash screen is Blank .You have to add something?
Certainly given my self a Blue square peripherals start up.
As I say Mandrake 10 boots to desk top no problem
Thanks for informaation, we my yet return to the default screen.

Theme Manager

HI PHOENIX2003
Have downloaded from Themes.KDE.org and added it in KDE LooknFeel Splash,so Blue square has been replaced.
In Mandrake version 10 No" Theme Manager"
Thanks for your interest in solving the KDE splash
