Boot Loader Questions

Hello

I just installed Mandrake 10 Official Download Edition. So, far everything is great. I came from Community Edition, however it had quite a few bugs that weren't fixed with updates so I decided to try out Official. Now, sound workds great right off the bat, and my mouse scroll isnt insanely fast at scrolling. But anyways, I have some questions with the bootloader. I am using Lilo graphical, and it has a list of options that I have not seen before (well I have seen some of them but I never did understand it all fully). The list looks like this:

linux
linux-nonfb
linux-i686-up-4GB
263-7
failsafe
windows
floppy

Ok, before it didn't have as many options. The one that is missing that I have always seen is "linux-enterprise". Anyways...this is the first time I am logging on to Mandrake 10 Official and I just booted into "linux-i686-up-4GB" as it sounded the best.....haha. So, can anyone explain what these options are? I obviously know what floppy and windows are. But, what is the difference between all the linux's. And what does 263-7 do? Failsafe, I am assuming, is just like windows' safe mode right? Which linux should I boot into? Also, my bootloader is not centered on the screen. This is the first time I have ever encountered that issue. Is there a way I can fix that? Also, can I use the control center to eliminate some of these options that I am never going to use (without any problems)? And I am assuming that I can simply rename them to more sensible things (like Windows XP Pro, etc, etc) without any problems arising. Well, I hope someone can help me out here, as I would like to know the answers to these questions. Thanks ahead of time.

linux-nonfb - lists all the boot messages during boot; otherwise the same as "linux"

failsafe - boots with minimal modules and services running and used for troubleshooting

The other two are just two different kernels that you have installed. 263-7 is the 2.6 kernel. And the other is for configurations with up to 4GB of ram. When you install a new kernel with an rpm, it automatically creates an entry in lilo so you can boot into that kernel if you want or boot your old kernel.
