Boot floppy
Hi,
I tried to make an "Install Boot Floppy" in Win 98 SE, for MDK 10.1 with dosutil under rawritewin using (F:\images\cdrom.img).
I recd. error message #3, where did I make the mistake???
It worked well in MDK 9.1

First, do a format to make sure the floppy's OK. They're aren't the most reliable storage media, you know.

Boot Floppy
Good morning,
My steps were; open "My Computer" Put in the CD went over to "dosutils" then "rawwritewin" put in the floppy then typed "F:\images\cdrom.img" in the file blank.
The received the Error 3 message.

It might be a Win98 problem. Try copy the dosutils directory to your harddrive and run it from there.
You can also try running the rawrite.exe from a dos window.
And begin by formatting your floppy to make sure it's OK.

I Made a boot disk with MDK 9.1 which worked well.
