Reusing a thread...

Here's what happened. During the MDK10 (Official) installation, the installer told me that it wasn't able to install a bootloader because of something to do with the BIOS interrupt or something being the same for the two hard drives I had in there (both are the same model number I believe, but are different sizes...). But it let me choose a bootloader anyway and stuff, but sure enough, when it reboots, I get "Error loading operating system."

I even tried doing a rescue boot and then trying to reinstall the bootloader. Still nothing.


Anyone have any ideas?

with MDK10.0 you must first boot from cd#2, then insert cd#1 when prompted. why they changed that, i dunno?

I thought that was only with the Community release? Anyway, I managed to get the disk working. I used the dos/command-line based version of rawrite (rawrite.exe) instead of rawwrite and rawwritewin, and it worked just fine.
