Hello,

I have just installed mandriva 2008 , the installation was fine except that the installer halted when using compizfusion but I did not care and restarted without 3d desktop

after installing I added the esayurpmi repositories and installed some programs line kdewebdev, basket, Opera,.... and I enabled compizfusion then I logged out to enable it

after logging in I had a blank blue screen that can be moved using <ctrl><left>or <right> and such shortcuts but nothing else showed (the cube is working but with nothing on it)

I tried to log into other window managers but they all halted with nothing to be done

I logged to failsafe disabled compizfusion and here I am asking you what is wrong and what can I do to fix this issue

I tried it again and it worked

The first time native support was disabled but this time they were both enabled (native support and XGL)
I do not know why did this happen but I am glad that isit solved
