Bash Prompt

Usually I am able to change the prompt that looks like "/home/usr"
by adding a Line "PS1=' $PWD $ ' to the .bash_profile
But this does not work with 9.2.Anyone knows how to change?

Have you tried putting your custom prompts in

.bashrc

?

Just an example:

PS1=”\w Hello $”
