attach sound files to events
 

I am using Mandrake 2005LE and would like to know if I can add my programs to the list in the control section, system notification . I managed to get the email notification to have th sound file I want but do not see how to attach a sound file to other program events. example of what I want: when I start open office I want my computer to tell me that " all systems are functioning normally" a cutsy little sound file I picked up a while back..

Add Sound events
 

I am trying to add sound events to the system sounds list. How is this done? I also noticed that there is a login sound event that never plays? How do I fix this? I am running Fedora Core 4.

For KDE the sound notification settings are in the KDE Control Centre (System->Configuration->Configure Your Desktop)->Sound and Multimedia->System Notifications
