Athn64 - Nvidia graphics card makes install impossible to see when installin Mdke64

Originally I tried to install Mandrake 10 32 bit.
The GUI never worked and I could only get into the text console.
BTW I am a linux newbie.
SO I downloaded Mandrake 64, put the 1st CD in and restarted.

The install screen was unreadable due to excessive fuzziness.

Athlon 64 3200
Leadtek Winfast A360TDH 256MB DDR. Nvidia FX5700.

Which version did you download? 9.2 or 10.0 Rc1? Near as I can tell downloading the 10.0 Official for AMD64 is impossible without atleast a silver membership. But if you downloaded 9.2, try 10.0 rc1. What motherboard do you have? How about your Monitor? It is possible that the installation started at a higher refresh rate then your monitor could handle.
