Pretty much any isp will work, if they are real isp's(not msn, aol, compuserve, etc.) check your phone book for local isp's.

as long as they don't require "special software" other than a dialer and browser, any should work. if you want a national, try att worldnet, or earthlink, you'll usually get better service/price with the local telephone co. you can search for providers by area code here: http://www.thelist.com/areacode.html

MSN should work, I have used it in the past. Using KPPP or other dialer, set it up just as you would a DUN in windows.
Enter "msn/username" no quotes as the username and enter your password. MSN will help you set up a DUN but you need to tell them it is for windows, if you tell them you are using Linux they will tell you it is not supported.
Also search this forum for "MSN" I have seen several threads in the past regarding this issue.

I was told by msn support that msn had to be all caps, e.g." MSN/username" AOL does not allow for a manually configured dial-up, nor do generic "aol's such as wal-mart connect. I use earthlink because they supply all info like ip addy's and smpt , and pop mail config.
