Applications Stalling while Loading
 

I have a problem!

When I start and application it appears to be loading (I get the turning hourglass on the KDE bar), but then it finishes and nothing happens. No window opens, no application runs. And I don't know why, or how to fix it.

This doesn't happen with every application, just certain ones, so I don't know whether its a problem with the applcations or with Mandrake.

I hope I've explained this enough for you to understand, and that someone can help me.

Please, open a terminal and type the name of application you have problem, use <TAB> to complete the name of the application. Post here any error message you obtain.
