Apache security

Hi all,

I'm using mandriva 2006, and I installed Apache_mod_php on it.

two questions:
1) Why when I'm writing 127.0.0.1 in my browser, I don't get any HomePage?
2) How can I control on the Server security?

Have you tried http://127.0.0.1/
Have you started the server?
Have you created a homepage to serve?
