Any success with on-access virus scan, clam, klam, Trouble installing dazuko module.

Hi, I have had some success with clam,

I was very surprised when it found 6 iterations of trojans(zipped) that

have been on my fat32 partitions for years without detection from Avast

in winxp-sp2.

So I thought it would be a good idea to have the on-access feature for

this system and my small network.(only 2 permanent, but room for guests)

But no matter how I try, either rpm dkms-dazuko(module attempts to load during boot, but fails) or source (I can't get it to make).

I have been following the directions from the main pages...

http://dazuko.dnsalias.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

and

http://dazuko.dnsalias.org/wiki/inde...allation_HOWTO (which is quite old, mdk-10.1)

Any way, I have been trying all night, and I'm about to give up.

Mandriva is getting so complicated, what with cross-platform libs(gtk+, qt3-4, not to forget i586 and x86_64), I'm about to switch to something simpler or at least more controllable. /rant/rant! Gentoo or LFS perhaps.

I can post the error messages if required, but I wondering if any Mandriva users have had any joy.

TIA, Glenn

Apparently it is possible:

It's a long thread and complicated, but at the end the OP says he was successful
