Hello, I have Mandrake 10.1 Community Download and use the kernel 2.6.8.1-10mdk kernel. I used to had Fefora Core 1 and Redhat 9, all of those with the 2.4 kernel. The module that I used was called
cmpci, however the module that the kernel 2.6.x uses is caleld snd-cmpci.
When I try to configure it in order to enable the 6 speakers, I can't find the usual option
Number of speakers while I reconfigure the kernel.
these are the options that I can configure in the kernel:
- id
- enable
- mpu_port
- fu_port
- soft_ac3
- joystick port
Can somebody tell me how do I enable the 6 speakers from Linux?
