ADI 1980 on MDK9.1

Hi to everyone!
I'm new here and I have already a trouble with the sound:
I have a new MoBo ASUS A7V8X-X with the soundchip ADI 1980 but the MDK9.1 recognize it like as VIA8233 and the sound doesn't work! Any idea what to do?
Thanks in advance
Matteo

Try running aumix and unmuting all the channels (that's always a gotcha)
Other than that...Try googling for your soundcard and see what module you should use.
