acpi on mdk 10

hi there
i've just installed mdk 10 community on my laptop (hp pavilion ze 4222) but i can't seem to figure out how to control the fan, temperature, battery and so on... i understand it has something to do with acpi but i'm too much of a newbie to really know what i should do.

can anyone tell me how to control the fan etc on mdk 10?

thanks,
al.

i haven't try mdk 10 yet, but on 9.2. there's acpi control package. you can find that in your package management. install it, and i think u should be able to get those work.

don't forget double check with your "make xconfig" at /usr/src/linux and make sure acpi and all its options are supported.
