Access to cancel or hold printing denied

Using mandrake 10.1 and KDE 3.2.
Using Cups to print using Canon S4500 everything Ok but if I want to cancell or hold printing have a problem.
Using KJobViewer 0.1 I can see list of print jobs and it lists me as the owner of the file printing but when I try to cancell or hold printing I get the following message
"you dont have access to the requested resource"

So how to I change access so that I can control my printer ?
