a few appearance questions

Hello, I upgraded from 10.1 OE to LE 2005 (KDE 3.3.2), and now I have a few issues regarding appearance.

1. I am trying to change the "show desktop icon" thru software and config, and not by actually changing the icon. This is what I am trying.

In my kickerrc there is an etnry:

Quote:
[DesktopButton_1]
FreeSpace=0
which corresponds to this button.

I was thinking I could do this:

Quote:
[DesktopButton_1]
FreeSpace=0
StorageId=:showdesktop.desktop
And then in ~/.kde/share/apps/kicker create a showdesktop.desktop file. However, I am not sure how to create the desktop file. For example here's my firefox .desktop file:

Quote:
[Desktop Entry]
Comment=Mozilla Firefox Web Browser
Comment[en_US]=Mozilla Firefox Web Browser
Exec=/usr/bin/mozilla-firefox
GenericName=
GenericName[en_US]=
Icon=/usr/share/icons/crystals_vg/scalable/apps/firefox.svg
MimeType=application/vnd.mozil_la.xul+xml;application/xhtml+x_ml;text/html;text/xml
Name=Mozilla Firefox
Name[en_US]=Mozilla Firefox
Path=
StartupNotify=true
Terminal=false
TerminalOptions=
Type=Application
X-DCOP-ServiceType=
X-KDE-SubstituteUID=false
X-KDE-Username=
However, "desktop access" is a special button and not an application,
so I am not sure what are all the keys for a special button, and the
exact format of the .desktop file for a special button. As well I
don't know what's the Exec line for "show desktop" suppose to be. I
have searched all over my computer for the .desktop file that defines
the "show desktop" special button for all users, but I can't find it.
If someone can tell me where it is located, it would help a lot, since
I could just copy that and modify it as needed.

Any suggestions on how I can change the "desktop access" special button
icon are welcome.

2. Is there a similar way to change the icon from star to something else using config files. If not what's the icon that should be changed?

3. Now, controls that have focus on them have a blue border around them. For example in Konqueror, when the address bar has focus it has a blue border. Can I turn this off? I think this is a feature because my brother had this before in 10.1, but he used Lipstick. I use Plastik. Was this added to Plastik in 3.3 and cant be truned off?

Any suggestions on these is greatly appreaciated.
