I use 9.2rc2. During the install I chose Gnome, but it's not listed in the login choices - only KDE, IceWM, failsafe and default. Then I went to Configuration -> Packaging -> Install Software and installed Gnome 2.4 from there. So Gnome is now a choice in the login menu, but when it starts loading the window manager (IceWM), it freezes.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

It's a release candidate - send in a bug report to Mandrake.
