2006 crashes when shutting down

I get this error Signal 11 (SIGSEGV) when I shut down kde. Black screen. When I close the window shutdown completes. Any ideas for a fix?

It is a known problem with KDE. It is an upstream bug, or so they say, but the funny thing is that in Slackware I do not experience the problem but I see it (relatively often) in my ArchLinux box.

Not much you can do about it, until a fix is released.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't notice it at first, seems like it just started doing it.

Yup... if you go to the KDE web site you will find threads of discussion about it. The real problem is kicker.

I looked there and there doesn't seem to be a fix.

As I said in my original post ... there is no fix yet.
We have to wait until the KDE development team works it out.
