2006 beta ,dual boot with 2005

reddazz & co. ,need your help.
Dual booting is a nightmare for me. I try to follow all and everything in the how-to's, and I have RTFM, both of LILO and GRUB, to no avail.

I have plain 2005LE in hda, LILO in MBR, running fine.
I intend to install plain 2006 in hdb.
What must I do, or write?

Thanks!

Install Mandirva 2006 to hdb but make sure you don't install LILO or GRUB. Once thats done boot into 2005 and add the line below to your /boot/grub/menu.lst
Code:
title Mandriva 2006
kernel (hd1,0)/boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/hdb1 acpi=ht resume=/dev/hda5 splash=silent vga=788
initrd (hd1,0)/boot/initrd.img

Doesn´t 2006 installation program allow you to configure your lilo??? I´ve never had problems with this part of the install ....

It usually gives you a screen to configure lilo at the end of the instalation and there you can set up all your operating systems in lilo / grub.

He is trying to dual boot, so I don't think its a good idea to use a bootloader from a testing distro because if you mess up the MBR you won't be able to boot into your stable distro without doing some sort of recovery procedure.
