Hi,

I am having some problems with my configuration of mandrake 9.2. I am in the process of moving from windows and going into the deep end and diving into linux in one go!

I have 2 sound cards one is onboard and the other a creative PCI sound card. Mandrake has detected both and even though I have disabled the onboard sound card mandrake can still 'see' it and has it chosen as the default. I would prefer to use the PCI sound card as well as you can guess it is better quality. I have tried what I can find and what i know (which is very little) and I am completely stuck!

So any help would be greatly received!
