10.1 Microphone not work
ok, im trying to use Teamspeak and my sound works good (i can listen to music and videos) but for the love of me i cannot get the microphone to work. can someone suggest where i start to look to fix this?

oh great, now upon loading up audacity, it says there are no devices to play or record sound. /me sighs

kernel = 2.6.something
sound =
Driver
Module: ?snd-via82xx
Alternative drivers: ?via82cxxx_audio
says its using the ALSA "snd-via82xx" driver
what else might you need to know? i dont remember off hand the exact kernel version, but it is 2.6 something

yep i'm having the same issues. sound from the mic just doesn't get recorded, even though capture is on mic1.
