Upgrading 2 to 3 when the time comes

So been using Mageia more and more recently. I'm actually liking it quite a bit. I'm thinking about replacing my Debian install on my second desktop with Mageia to have something a little different on there, but the biggest thing I like about Debian is the ease of switching versions. When the new version is released, switch your repos, do an update, upgrade, dist-upgrade, and boom you're running the new version with no reinstalls.

Will Mageia 2 be able to be upgraded to 3 when the time comes without a reinstall or major fuss? Thanks!

An upgrade will be possible. I upgraded from 1 to 2 with no major issues. Although, your milage may vary.

Only issue you might have is if your current intallation is "pre UsrMove". If it is you can still upgrade, but a clean install would be better. (See UsrMove wiki on mageia.org)
