I have Audacious, CLementine and Amarok and none will play midi's
Hey out there in frustrationville;
I have a number of music files, midi's where most were part of html stationery and others I picked up. I'd like to play themomnce in awhile but on that aspect I have hit a wall. I even tried to get VLC to play tghem, oh its all right with a wav but a midi,that's beneatrh its dignity, yeah right.
I installed all the dependencies for audacious, clementine and amarok; at least I believe I have? So, what can I do to resolve this dilemma?
I can listgen to my midi's nows throguh TiMidity and the midi softrware from the add & remove site of which six were TiMidity connected.
However there was a slight problem and that had to do with my not being able to play several midi's but just a moment ago while I had TiMidity++ open, I discovered I could geta list ofmidi's by clicking 'Open' which opened the file where my midi's were lolcated. Then a series of double clicks and I had four midi's which I can listen to and now I can see kf I can save these four.
Before when I tried to 'load playlist' I was unsuccessful.
