Zero in on known Technical Solutions

Many have been helped getting to the the "solution" they needed to solve a technical problem or fix a bug. Once a solution has been arrived at or a problem solved a concise summary can be created for those who will need help with that precise problem.

At present those looking for a solution need to follow threads, long threads, to learn what is necessary to get the information they need.

Those looking for solutions that exist and are known to this forum could scan a "Problem/Solution" component and find a concise description of problems and solution in one place; An editor can edit threads and eliminate those which are incorrect or superfluous. (Note: this may currently exist If it does I am not aware of it.)

http://wiki.linuxquestions.org/wiki/Main_Page and http://wiki.linuxquestions.org/wiki/Main_Page would seem to apply. As does the "Did you find this post helpful?" button. All are user created so, to anyone who wishes to do this, have at it!
