Great! I was starting to get sick of having to open another window, going to google, searching for 'man somethingorother' and being presented with a load of dodgy pages. This makes thing much easier. Cheers.

man pages etc

Just so those of you are aware, with some of us nuggets (well me anyway) it's not a case of "lazy posters". That is unfair.

A total tit like me, knows that much about linux, rpm's, distro specific snags, etc etc, that the man pages might as well be written

IN BLOODY SANSKRIT!

But when I finally know enough to understand what they are saying to me at least I will know where to find them easily.

P.S. most of you knowledgable types should realise, that with the likes of me (whilst knowing that linux is a learning curve from windows, have found that it's really a learning mountain - and thats using an apparently easy distro like SuSE - how many stupid questions would I be able to come up with if my first try with linux was with slackware???

MasterC 06-27-2002 08:42 AM

Looking at my posts, even with an 'easy' distro like Mandy...
