I would guess the number of posts you make on this forum would be the difference.

yeah they should have ranks:

1-100 posts= Private
100-200 = Sergeant
200-500 = Lieutenant
500-1000 = Captain
1000-2000 = Colonel
2000-5000 = General
5000-10000 = Supreme Commander

Just like in Galaga...
