Why keep old 0 reply posts??

Er this might seem like a silly question but here goes. Why keep 0 reply posts from as far back as 08-21-2003 (there are probably older ones, this one was taken from the Mandrake forum)? Surely it would be better to remove these and regain some server space? I've no doubt that some of the queries/issues raised will have been resolved with the newer distro releases plus I can't really picture anyone waiting 2yrs for a response to a post (although you never know!!). There may a perfectly logical reason for these posts to remain and if so please enlighten me.

The better question IMHO is, why arbitrarily remove them? Also, keep in mind, not all 0 reply threads are unanswered posts - many are announcements, tips and various other items.

And if I may add my opinion, as long as Jeremy has server
space to leave them, if any of them get answered, they'll
show up in a Google <Linux> search and help someone...

Well that's me enlightened.
