where's the "see first unread post?"

so normally I do a search for my user name to see what has changed in the threads I've been reading. I recently started using the "see first unread post" link, in order to skip everything I'd already read. Then today I noticed it wasn't there anymore. WHy?

oops, i guess it goes to the last post in the thread, not last viewed, sorry. it's that square blue button with the yellow arrow in it next to the date and username of each thread, in the right hand column under "Last Post," in case you want to make do with that.

fwiw, i checked on a couple of other forums i'm on that have the "go to first unread post" link, and those go the last post, too, even in threads i've never read. so it might just be my cookies or something, maybe the arrow would work for you. otherwise, i'd suggest emailing jeremy or posting in the website questions/suggestions forum.

I'd opened a similar thread in Website suggestions and feedback. I guess I am not the only one missing this feature.

As I mentioned in the other thread, the removal of this feature was completely accidental and it has returned. Sorry for the inconvenience.
