Tell me about it. I keep a changelog.

I used the User-Agent Switcher and Manager Chrome extension to acquire my little Slackware badge.

I keep scrap paper notes all over the place. Does that count as a changelog?

Here goes nothing. That extension is very involved. Maybe it'll work for me

It worked!

@ceed... it's working fine. If you don't see the Slackware icon, you'll need to dump your browser's image cache and recheck.

i am testing this useragent thingy so i get to see my shiny little blue Slackware logo in my LQ interface. i use chrome and put the following string into its user agent field :
Quote:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Slackware Linux x86_64; rv:90.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/90.0
but, it doesn't stay 'Custom' and returns to 'Select automatically'... why ? how does one save changes for 'Network conditions' ? very generally, hot do i get to a Slackware logo in LQ ?

Question

Is there a way to do this without an extension nowadays? Maybe in devtools or ~/.mozilla &c.?

Firefox: 91.5.1esr (64-bit)
Code:
cat /etc/slackware-version
Slackware 15.0
wrong thread?
