Might be useful to have a link near the top of the page to a search for the users posts, making it easier to keep up with thier threads, as they fall off the front page of a forum.
It could go right next to the "View New Posts" and "View Threads with 0 Posts" links.
well the feature already exists, you can go to the Standings and pull up your name siroxo and view your posts from most recent . it may not be exactly where you specifying it, but it is really only two clicks away from where you are asking it to be ..
You'll find these links by clicking the profile button for a user in their posts:
"Search for all posts by this user - Search for all threads started by this user"
And you can also just click the "Search" button in a users post on the forums.
I really don't see a need to have this cluttering up the homepage. Hell, I should now have 15,712 thousand search buttons for myself that members can click on scattered thoughout the forums I participate in...
I know there are plenty of ways to access such a feature. Just that checking threads I've posted in previously is by far my most common action on a forum, and probably many other people as well. Many other forums I use (like this and this) have this as a link off the front page for conveneince. After all, anything more than 1 click on the web is an eternity in people's minds.
Anyways, I don't mean to be annoying, just wanted to give a little more of my reasoning. Please don't take this as argument, if its not going to be included, I'll shut up
well i mean the main page in the links for your personal thread search results that i
linked lists 35 most recent posts on the first page ... i know personally, i never have to back track past 35 threads cause 9.999 times outta 10 that thread is no longer active and the question has been answered .. so your basically going to have 99% of the threads
your currently active in on the main page, so why don't you just bookmark your page : http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...archid=2049529
