Using Progressive disclosure in LQ homepage

Hello,
I just visited LQ and noticed this huge extra long security post. The post in its current form, althought
informative and all, puts the usablility of the LQ homepage down the drain.

For example, if I need to see other news or posts on the page I have to scroll way down the page. I suggest
to use progressive disclosure in such kind of very-long (and not-necessarly-important to all members) posts. That is post a small snippet of the post followed by a "read more..." link that links to the complete thread/post.

Good Luck and Keep up the good work.

The homepage is being redesigned along with the rest of the site. Should be live on December 3rd if all goes as planned. Thanks for the feedback.
