User experience in installing a Linux distro

This is just a suggestion. It might be helpful to some one who is thinking of changing or upgrading a particular distro to be able to look at the procedures, problems and successes of those who have gone on before.

Read the forums - every thread is an adventure in installing. A facetious way of saying that really, this is what LQ is. Follow a posters posting history and you can see just what they go through.
